Senior athletes take to the track

Anja Blaauw makes a safe landing after her long jump at the Central Gauteng Masters Athletics Championships held at the Germiston Stadium, recently.

Germiston Stadium recently hosted the Central Gauteng Masters Athletics Championships.

Senior athletes showed youngsters how it is done when they performed at their best.

Among other events, the audience witnessed long and high jump, 5 000m walk and hammer throw action.

Athletes from across Gauteng gathered at the stadium to showcase their talents.

Women’s 40 years 800m sprint:
