Man arrested for the possession of live ammunition

Primrose police confiscated three rounds of live ammunition during the arrest of a 21-year-old.

While on patrol in Zinnia Lane in Primrose last Saturday, officers from the Primrose Police Station noticed a man acting suspiciously.

They approached the 21-year-old and noted that he became increasingly nervous.

“Police searched him and found three live rounds of ammunition in his front right pocket,” said communications officer for the Primrose police, Sgt Styles Maome.

He was arrested.

He has since appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where his case was postponed for plea and trial.
