Children given guidance by SAPS

The Primrose SAPS and the Primrose SAPS Crime Prevention Youth Desk visited the children of Morning Stars Pre-School last Wednesday to talk to them about their rights.

Children from Morning Stars Pre-School in Primrose were delighted on Wednesday when they received a special visit from the Primrose SAPS.

Officers from the Primrose Social Crime Prevention Unit, along with members of the Primrose SAPS Crime Prevention Youth Desk spoke to the children about their rights and taught them the Childline phone number.

They also gave the children sweets and toys.

Sgt Styles Maome, the communications officer for the Primrose SAPS and a social crime prevention officer, thanked the team’s sponsors namely, Avril Elizabeth Home, Chubby Chums for the Children’s Homes and Cartoon Candy.

He also thanked the youth desk members for assisting on the day.
